Features:
- Many different creatures each with their own evolutionary stages.
- Food and training system so that your VPET can get even stronger.
- VPET Battle System.

Please note: The app was created to provide a retro simulation of the classic digital monsters gameplay but it is NOT Digimon and is NOT licensed/endorsed by Bandai. All the virtual pets appearing in VPET were designed by Rytech Apps.

Pros and cons of VPET Gen1 - Monster Evolution app for iPhone and iPad

VPET Gen1 - Monster Evolution app good for

Go to settings, change the time to 1 day later (make sure you close the app and care for your pet before doing this), and after that, clean your pets poop, cure it, feed it, and train it. Repeat this until you get an adult. Be aware that this doesnt always work, and sometimes it will result in your pet dying.
Exactly what you think it is!! This app is a nostalgic blast from the past, a definite $0.99 worth while!!
Amazing VPET! reminds me of the good old tomagatchi and nonos! Keep updates coming and better version of games!
Have been looking for something like this for such a long time! It takes pet care and a battle and melds them nicely. For anyone that has played any kind of pet care game and liked it try this one too! Highly recommended.
I had one of these as a kid and lost it ages ago and have never been able to find one again. As soon as I saw this I knew I had to have it, thank you so much for making this game you satisfied my want for finding my favourite childhood game
Wow this was an amazing toy, and now I can relive my childhood fav thing ! Digimon !

Some bad moments

This does everything that the Digimon keychain games did, but calls itself a "retro simulation" instead of "worthless waste of time" or "developer has no ideas."
Its nostalgic indeed, it looks and reminds me of my original tamagotchi. But thats as far as it goes. This critters needs decrease waay to quickly, it poops like a machine. And then instead of making it happy you are supposed to make it strong to battle other people. Again needs go down too quickly and the battling doesnt interest me at all, because you need to have RL friends with this app in order to do so. I think the battling part is lame in general. Overall I think the ideas need an overhaul, the game needs to be re-thought out, slow down the decreasing needs and dont have it poop so much (seriously, go to bed for 2 hours and wake up the screen is all poop and the critter is sick) As for the other reviews, I have my doubts to them being authentic. And finally this app isnt even worth what I paid for it, and I got it for free on Sunday.
Needs decrease so fast that this little guy is NEVER satisfied. If you leave it unattended for an hour its screen fills up with crap. I can feed it for 10 minutes straight and the hunger bar is STILL not full, same for the strength game. Its energy bar is ALWAYS empty. If you want a retro pet, I recommend downloading the Hatchi instead. This app is not worth it. Deleting it now.
While this app is a good concept (and brings me nostalgia) the pets needs are way too overwhelming. I feel like this is more like a chore, because the pet needs something every 15 minutes, it always seems to be hungry even though I feed it 10+ times everytime it complains, it feels week every 20 or so minutes... In glad I got it when it was free, because this app is so annoying. While I know its a virtual pet, its too needy and I cant just stop in the middle of something every 15 minutes to see what the heck is wrong with it.
I absolutely love the game so far! I still cant get pause to work like everyone else.. I do however enjoy the nostalgic feeling I get when playing with it.. I would like to see if it doesnt have to always go to the loading screen each time I open up the app. Its not a big deal but I still would like to see if there is a way to do that. Also, maybe abilities to customize the look of the "device" rather than just brown brick? More customization basically. Overall great game tho. I love it.
Love the app.. Im not reply sure why everyone is complaining about not having the original digimon characters. The game is already such a great version of it and deserves to stand on its own, in terms of visual creativity. Great job. Cant wait for V2!
